Farage masterplan: How Brexit Party will FORCE Boris Johnson to deliver full Brexit

THE BREXIT PARTY has declared Boris Johnson will not destroy them even if he secures a full Brexit on October 31.

Brexit: Boris Johnson warned by MEP not to ‘play with fire’

Mr Johnson has been left with a working majority of just one in the House of Commons after the Conservative Party lost to the Liberal Democrats in the Brecon and Radnorshire by-election. Now that he has lost one more vote in the House of Commons, he is facing more pressure to ensure he delivers his promise of getting Brexit completed by the October 31 deadline. The Prime Minister may want to hold off calling a general election until after the UK leaves the EU over fears the Tories could be wiped out by the Brexit Party, which only formed at the start of this year but has already seen success by winning the EU elections in May, leaving the Conservative Party trailing miserably behind in fifth place.

But Rupert Lowe, West Midlands Brexit Party MEP, says the Brexit Party is strong enough to prevent Mr Johnson ensuring they do not see any electoral success by delaying a general election.

He added Nigel Farage’s party will not cease to exit when Brexit is finally delivered.

“The country needs a strong Brexit Party to deliver a strong Brexit.

Nigel Farage has warned the Tories will be “annihilated” if Brexit is not delivered

Boris Johnson suffered an embarrassing defeat in the Brecon by-election

“If Tory MPs feel their seats are threatened then they will respond.

“People voted leave because they wanted to see fundamental political reform. That mission does not stop if we leave on October 31.

“We’d do a deal with the devil to get a clean Brexit delivered.

“Let us not forget that despite all the bluster Boris voted for Theresa May’s Treaty, backstop and £39 billion divorce bill included. Can we trust him? The jury is out.”

The Brexit Party will later announce candidates for all 650 seats across the UK

Meanwhile, Mr Farage has said the Tories will be “annihilated” if Brexit is not delivered in time.

The Brexit Party also launched 50 new parliamentary candidates in preparation for an early election.

Mr Farage tweeted: “Today The Brexit Party launches 50 new parliamentary candidates across the country.

“If the Tories don’t deliver Brexit by October 31, they will be annihilated.”

Tory MP Chris Davies lost out to the Lib Dems in the by-election

Jane Dodds for the Liberal Democrats won the mid-Wales constituency by a margin of 1,425

The Brexit Party will later announce candidates for all 650 seats across the UK.

Mr Farage said: “With Boris Johnson already watering down Brexit, and looking to bounce the country into an early general election, trust is now the key issue in British politics.

“Our great candidates will not stand for Mrs May’s treaty being repackaged, it is still the worst deal in history and a betrayal of leave voters.

“That’s why we are ready to fight in every seat to secure the Brexit that 17.4m voted for.”

Boris Johnson may put off a general election after the by-election defeat

Brexit Party Chairman Richard Tice added the party will “restore common sense” in Westminster.

He said: “Our experienced, highly competent parliamentary candidates are just what we need at this crucial time in our country’s history.

“They have achieved in the real world, not the Westminster bubble, having launched successful charities and multimillion-pound business.

“The Brexit Party will restore common sense and confidence in Westminster.”

Boris met the First Minister of Wales Mark Drakeford in the National Assembly for Wales this week

The tories’ defeat was humiliating for Mr Johnson as it was his first electoral test.

He is the first Prime Minister since World War Two to have lost a by-election so quickly in his leadership.

Jane Dodds for the Liberal Democrats won the mid-Wales constituency by a margin of 1,425, swinging the vote nearly 12 percent from the Tories.

An electoral pact saw Plaid Cymru and the Green Party stand aside to boost the chances of a pro-EU MP being elected, and Lib Dem leader Jo Swinson predicted further alliances in future.

The first major electoral test of Mr Johnson as Tory leader became his first defeat with the announcement of Ms Dodds’ victory.
