At the time, the Prime Minister said he was “more than happy” with that “blistering timetable”.
Mr Farage said that that this 30-day deadline could block a potential Remainer plot to topple the Prime Minister.
His remarks come after Conservative MPs who oppose a no deal Brexit were invited to Jeremy Corbyn’s meeting of opposition MPs.
The MPs met to agree on a strategy to stop Boris Johnson’s no deal Brexit.
Farage has claimed that Angela Merkel may have ruined Remainers chances of stopping a no deal Brexit

However, none of the Conservative MPs attended, citing fears that attempts to stop a no deal may end with Jeremy Corbyn in Downing Street.
Mr Farage told listeners: “Dominic Grieve cannot accept the possibility of putting Jeremy Corbyn as Prime Minister.
“This is how Mrs Merkel has done Boris Johnson the most massive favour.
“She said to Boris, ‘go away little boy, you have thirty days, to come back with a better deal, as head mistress, I will judge whether its acceptable or not’.
Merkel suggested that an alternative to the Irish border backstop - a key Brexit sticking point - could be found within 30 days
“But she has given Boris time. How could any Tory MP, in good faith, vote against their Conservative PM in a motion of no-confidence when they still have the opportunity to come back on the 21st September with an alternative to the backstop?
“That has proved enormously helpful to Boris – by accident – and no wonder he nearly bit her arm off when she offered him that.”
Jeremy Corbyn said that opposition MPs will seek to pass a law blocking a no deal Brexit when Parliament returns next week.
Farage said that that this 30-day deadline could block a potential Remainer plot to topple the Prime Minister The move could force the PM to ask the EU for a further Brexit delay, beyond the current 31 October deadline.
However, there are limited opportunities do that before 31st October and even less if Tory MPs wait for the 30-day deadline to pass.
A No 10 source accused the MPs of “seeking to sabotage the UK’s position” in talks with Brussels.
Mr Johnson has urged the EU to re-open Brexit talks and ditch the Irish backstop.
But, he has also insisted the UK will be leaving on 31 October even if no new deal is reached.
