Gov Adeleke on the lead, set to be declared
The final results of the 30 local government areas were announced by INEC officials at the INEC headquarters in Osogbo, the Osun State capital.

Although a final tally of the results is still being done as of the time of this report, a PREMIUM TIMES review of the declared results shows that Mr Adeleke has over 60,000 more votes than his closest challenger, Bola Oyebamiji.
Our tally of the announced results shows that Mr Adeleke has a total of 511,067 votes while Mr Oyebamiji has 444,811 votes, a difference of 66,256 votes.
