Many Nigerians have reacted as the Nigerian authority recovered many assets worth millions of naira from the former Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Yusuf Buratai. The former COAS and Nigeria Ambassador to the Republic of Benin had multiple commands and authority when he was in service before he retired.

According to Sahara reporters, a security safe was found in his possession and it contains foreign currencies in it. Another asset like a voice-customized bulletproof G-Wagon valued at the rate of 150m and a 2022 Mercedez Benz. Many Nigerians on social media have reacted by condemning him for accumulating such an expensive asset.

Below are some of the reactions as social media users blame the Nigerian government for not taking responsibility while others shifted the blame to the ruling party. Many accused him of selling Nigeria to terrorists and not buying weapons and equipment with the money allocated to the Nigeria Army.
