APPLE has announced a swathe of new devices and services including a refreshed iPad, iPhone 11 and Apple Watch Series 5.

Apple has just unveiled a blockbuster range of super new services and glorious gadgets including an update to its hugely popular iPhone.

The next generation of Apple smartphones has just been announced and it’s all about the cameras.

The new iPhone 11 Pro comes packed with three lenses on its rear case with users now able to shoot wide-angle photos and get closer to the action with an improved zoom.

There’s also a new night mode which offers much better snaps when the lights get low.

If you like filming movies on your phone then there’s more good news with the iPhone 11 Pro offering the highest quality video ever in a smartphone.

Along with the camera upgrade, Apple is boasting that this is their fastest ever smartphone with it powered by the ludicrously fast A13 Bionic processor.

It will also last a bit longer with a few extra hours of life coming to this Pro phone and when it does run dry there’s a fast charger now in the box.

Finally, the screen gets a boost via the Super Retina XDR display which is the brightest ever in an iPhone.

The iPhone 11 Pro arrives with a 5.8-inch screen and there’s also a Max model which brings a 6.5-inch viewing experience to your pocket.

If you fancy one, the iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max come in four funky finishes, including midnight green, and will be available for pre-order on Friday.

iPhone 11 – From £729

Apple has replaced the popular iPhone XR with a new device which is simply called the iPhone 11.

This colourful call maker arrives in six fresh designs including green, purple and yellow.

Again, you’ll find a nice camera upgrade with this latest device getting a dual-lens rear camera and a front-facing snapper than can shoot wide-angle and slow-motion selfies.

Apple has tucked its new and much faster A13 Bionic processor under the hood and you’ll also be treated to a bright 6.1-inch all-screen Liquid Retina display.

iPhone 11 will be available for pre-order tomorrow and it arrives in stores beginning Friday, September 20.

Apple Watch Series 5 update

It could finally be time to invest in an Apple Watch.

The new Series 5 model finally gets some must-have features including an always-on display which means you’ll never be faced with a blank screen again.

Although this watch never sleeps it still offers all-day battery life with Apple using some clever new technology to make sure its wearable is now super-efficient.

Other new features include a compass and it is available in a wider range of materials, including aluminium, stainless steel, ceramic and all-new titanium.

You can order this new device from this Friday.

• If that sounds a little pricey it’s worth noting that Apple has reduced the price of its series 3 device.

The popular watch includes built-in GPS, optical heart rate sensor and water resistance, and now starts from £199.

A new cheaper iPad is now landing on your lap.

This device now includes a 10.2-inch Retina and a fast A10 Fusion chip which Apple is boasting offers 2X faster performance than a top-selling PC.

Fans will also get the ability to attach the Smart Keyboard case and there’s Apple Pencil support so you can scribble on the screen without using your finger.

“The new iPad packs even more value into our most popular and affordable iPad model featuring a bigger 10.2-inch Retina display, support for Apple Pencil and for the first time, the full-size Smart Keyboard,” said Greg Joswiak, Apple’s vice president of Product Marketing.

Apple Arcade launch

APPLE ARCADE • £4.99 per month

Apple’s new gaming service was announced earlier this year but its now ready for its big launch.

Apple Arcade brings a swathe of top games for a fee £4.99 per month fee.

If you sign up you’ll get unlimited access to the entire catalogue of over 100 new, exclusive games, all playable across iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac and Apple TV.

This subscription service is launching with a one-month free trial, and Apple says users will not find the games on any other mobile platform or subscription service.

APPLE TV+ • £4.99 per month

If you love bingeing on boxsets then there will soon be a lot choice coming to your telly.

Apple TV+ is launching on November 1 with this £4.99 service includes blockbuster content that’s exclusive to Apple.

“With Apple TV+, we are presenting all-original stories from the best, brightest and most creative minds, and we know viewers will find their new favourite show or movie on our service,” said Zack Van Amburg, Apple’s head of Worldwide Video.
