New iPhone 11 release date officially confirmed – Apple to unveil its next smartphone soon

THE new iPhone 11 release date has now been confirmed as Apple sends out invitations for its next major launch event. Here’s when you’ll get your first glimpse at this Apple smartphone and what upgrades could be included.

New Apple iPhone 11 release date confirmed

Apple’s new iPhone 11 release date has now been revealed and there’s not long to wait.

The US technology firm has just sent out invitations to a major launch with the grand unveiling taking place on Tuesday, September 10.

Just like previous years, the US technology firm has included a cryptic message on its invite which simply reads “By innovation only.”

The event will get underway in Cupertino, California with the keynote taking place inside the purpose-built theatre named after Apple founder Steve Jobs.

The invite sent out to media across the world

The stunning venue is set within the grounds of the firm’s giant circular Apple Park headquarters which opened back in 2017.

Although Apple’s email doesn’t reveal much, the US technology firm is expected to unveil three new iPhones at its event next month.

Rumours are rife that fans will get two new iPhone 11 devices including a standard and Max model along with a reboot to the cheaper iPhone XR.

The new iPhone 11 flagship devices could include a faster processor, improved battery life and a triple rear camera which could finally bring a wide-angle lens to these popular devices.

If the XR is your favoured phone then it seems this device could get a dual-lens camera on its rear case.

Another update on all 2019 iPhones could arrive in the form of a new technology which will allow them to refill other devices and accessories, such as Apple’s latest AirPods, wirelessly.

Stratolaunch: World’s largest aircraft takes flight for first time

Huawei and Samsung have both included this battery boosting tech on their current flagship range so it would make sense for Apple to follow with something similar.

One final rumour doing the rounds is that Apple Pencil support may be in-built into the display.

That could mean some models will be compatible with a digital stylus.

Although nothing has yet been confirmed we do know one thing and that’s the fact there are less than two weeks to wait before all will be revealed.

So, if you love all things Apple, it seems September 10 is the date you definitely need to put in your diary.
