New iPhone 11 release – This could be a very important date for all Apple fans

The new iPhone 11 could be just weeks away from being revealed to the world.

If Apple follows its usual launch cycle, fans should expect to see the next generation smartphone unleashed in September as this is when the US technology firm always reveals its latest and greatest devices.

Although not confirmed, it seems the 2019 upgrade could be all about the camera with rumours suggesting that the next iPhone will get three rear snappers.

If true it could mean fans will finally get the option to shoot images with a wide-angle lens plus there may be improvements to the zoom and night photography.

Along with that camera upgrade, we can also expect all the usual boosts such as a more powerful processor, better battery life, improved screen and faster face unlock.

It’s also possible that Apple will bring reverse wireless charging to its next iPhone which will allow it to refill other devices and accessories wirelessly.

If these updates are filling you with excitement then there’s good news as we could get an official unveiling very soon.

Express.co.uk has looked back at when previous devices were unveiled and we think there could be a chance that the iPhone 11 will be shown to the world in early in September.

In fact, we are predicting a date of Tuesday, September 10 for the big reveal.

The reasons for that date are simple.

Firstly, the opening week of September 2019 is a bad time to release a new device if you want everyone’s attention as the IFA technology show is taking place in Berlin.

This huge event is where hundreds of firms unveil their latest products and it’s highly unlikely that Apple would want risk losing the limelight by launching the iPhone at the same time.

That takes us to the second week of September and Tuesday, September 10 has to be a favourite time for the big reveal.

It’s very rare for Apple to launch an iPhone on a Monday and the Wednesday of that week falls of September 11th – there’s obvious reasons why a US firm wouldn’t want to celebrate a launch on that poignant date.

If you look back at other years you can also see a pattern which paints a pretty clear picture of when the iPhones have been revealed.

Sadly, if you want official confirmation of the launch you might have a wait on your hands.

With the US firm now using the specially built Steve Jobs theatre to announce their new products they have more flexibility as to when they announce what’s coming next.

This means we’re unlikely to find out an official launch date until much sooner to the big reveal.
