APPLE’S iPhone 11 will be revealed in just a few hours time but ahead of its global release, a fresh leak is offering fans news of a surprise update.

Apple iPhone 11 release

There’s not long left until Apple finally lifts the lid on its new iPhone 11.

This device looks set to be shown to the world in just a few hours time with the US firm holding a global event at its headquarters in Cupertino.

Apple never reveals any details ahead of its launch events but we’ve already seen plenty of rumours about a triple rear camera, reverse wireless charging and the possible inclusion of Apple Pencil support which could allow users to scribble on the screen without using their fingers.

However, as Apple prepares for its big launch there’s a new surprise rumour which could prove hugely popular.

According to the team at Mobile Fun, Apple will launch the new iPhone 11 in a range of exciting colours including – for the first time – a two-tone option.

If true, it would mean Apple is following the likes of Huawei and Samsung by releasing these stunning multi-layer designs.

This would also mark a dramatic shift away from the usual gold, silver and black that has graced this flagship for a number of years.

Reports suggest that this new colour may be similar to the stunning Aura Glow seen on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 range and it would certainly bring more choice to consumers.

Along with this striking look, it’s possible that numerous other combinations could launch with many speculating that the invite, sent out to media, reveals some colourful designs are inbound.

The new iPhone 11 could arrive in green

The email, pushed out by Apple late last month, included an image of its famous logo split into numerous colours including green, purple, and red.

Via Olixar cases, Mobile Fun has even released some images of how these phones could look with a green device certainly offering a bright appearance.

So that’s the new designs but what else could be coming to Apple’s latest and greatest phones.

We’re expecting a total of three devices to be unveiled and here’s what to maybe unveiled later today.

iPhone 11 – This device could replace the current entry-level iPhone XR.

If rumours are true it will feature a 6.1-inch screen, A13 processor and dual-lens rear camera.

A technology called bilateral charging could also be included which will allow this iPhone to refill other devices and accessories when placed back to back.

Finally, it’s thought this phone could arrive in numerous colour options.

iPhone 11 Pro – This is maybe Apple’s new flagship with fans getting numerous extra features on this device.

Rumours suggest this phone will get a 5.8-inch screen, new A13 processor and bigger battery under the hood.

The Pro models also look set for a triple rear camera which could finally bring wide-angle photos and improved images in low light to users.

That bilateral charging is also expected along with the addition of Apple Pencil support which will allow fans to scribble on the screen without using their fingers.

iPhone 11 Pro Max – Finally there’s the iPhone 11 Pro Max. This device could get all the feature of the new iPhone 11 Pro but with a bigger 6.5-inch screen included.

Express.co.uk will be at the event in the Steve Jobs Theatre and will bring you all the news live as it happens.
